More Berkeley. (I like this place.)

I suggest you click on this and read the ethical debate in the graffiti.

Berkeley students are so smart.

So intellectual. (And of course, we all have school pride.)

Fun on (the) BART. I think those people were trying NOT to look at me.

Forget about it Jack, it's just Chinatown.

The Main Library (Doe)! I only went in here for the first time ever a few weeks ago.

A view from Doe, the one on the left is South Hall, my favorite building on campus. The other one is Wheeler, I think. I like it too.

Another part of Doe.

I tried to take a million pictures of this bird, this is the best one that came out. I know, it's not that great.

The bird's berry thing it left behind.

Our photogenic clocktower.

These trees are so beautiful. I love them.

I don't remember why I took this, or why I'm posting it, but I like it.

These trees!

These trees are so amazing.

I just like the colors on this one, it's not actually that great a picture.

This fountain on the South side of campus after a prolonged rain. Someone may have put soap in there, or it may just have gotten foamy on its own. It made me think of Ariana.

Rain from my Sterny window.

From atop the monolith that is Barrows Hall.

More.

Southside.

Eastside.

Apparently.

NORTHSIDE. (Moneyshot.)

Also Northside.

Barrows Hall. Hot.

Again, great photos of Berkeley.
I am so reminded of why I love living in this information technology age that I can sit in my lounge with my laptop, with a wireless connection to my router upstairs in my study and look at cool photographs of a city thousands of miles away.

Your building reportage photos have inspired me. I feel a mini project coming on. My small town, Stony Stratford, is now part of a big city called Milton Keynes. Stony has been here for ever and has lots of nice old buildings whereas MK is uber modern.
I might do some contrast and compare type photos. What do you think?

Just been looking a Berkeley on Google Earth - trying (and failed) to see the buildings you've photographed.
You are lucky in that (I believe) most of the US in photographed in hi res, whereas the UK is not. Can you see your house? I can see mine!

Thanks so much for the compliments! I actually have found my house on Google Earth, it's pretty amazing.

I think it would be a great idea to do the photo essay. I would love to see it, and I'm flattered that I'd be an inspiration. Good luck!
