Day Four: Dec. 28, 2005

They have hybrid buses in NY! Why don't we have that?! Genius!

The Chrysler Building! Yes, most of my photos are taken at night because I like to sleep in, plus I was jet lagged on LA time, plus in winter the sun sets at like 4:30. Hence, barely any daylight photos.

There's always steam coming out of the sewers and gutters, it's kinda neat. It's warm but smells bad. So I guess it may not be kinda neat.

I sure do like that steam.

While waiting in line to get to the top of the Empire State Building, I remarked upon the interesting art deco embellishments. Nice interior.

I told you there would be a ton more cityscapes. There are a bunch of these.

I don't know what that big gold building is, but I like it.

More Chrysler Building. There's a ton more of that one too.

I don't know any of these buildings. None. But it's nice.

So I wrapped the string connected to the camera around my wrist like three times and dropped it over the edge while holding the shutter button, and this is the loveliness that I got. Scared me and everyone around me though.

Some more Chrylser Building and surrounding stuff.

This is a big street. I can't tell you which one it is though because pretty much all streets in New York are big.

That big thing on the right half of the picture is Macy's with their big old tree. Or just the lights anyway, that's not the big famous tree that everyone goes and sees, that one is at Rockefeller Center, and we didn't go there. Don't know where that is, actually.

The spear-like protector gate to prevent suicides. Kinda scary looking, but pretty as well.
